Arranging flowers in a pool.

How do you float pool floral arrangements?

Florist #1: One thing in ALL cases I have anchored them to the walls with HEAVY monofilament fish line, so they can not float around or move.

One time, I used a rather large 3 by 3 foot chunk of ice, that a friend of mine made for me (he's an ice sculptor) and we floated that, however the arrangement had to be somewhat smaller than I wanted because of the weight.

Second, I took two sheets of green florist styrofoam, and glued them together, then cut in half (width wise) and glued them together to make a 2 layer square. After the flowers were designed, I cut away as much styrofoam as possible, but still allowing enough for it to float. Then glued the container to the styrofoam, and floated it, and then tied it off as before.
