Valentine Help

Of all holidays, Valentine's Day is considered the hardest for any florist. Other holidays spread out to allow a few days delivery while Valentine customers insist their order be delivered on one day, the 14th. (Except when Valentine's is on Sunday)

Florist one:

This idea will make a great deal more room in your cooler. After working up your roses and foliage, arrange a dozen in a vase, then pick up the arrangement at the rim of the vase and tie with a zip-lock tie. Store in a water bucket with three or four other dozens arranged this way. When the order is ready to go out, take the dozen arranged roses, cut the tie and drop down into a vase, already filled with water. Also, since ribbon tends to go limp in the cooler, you can have the bows ready with the vases of water outside the cooler. This also works well with half dozen roses.
