The flower girl is a special part of any wedding.  This fresh flower head wreath will only take a matter of minutes and will finish the attire to make her into the little princess she is.  (This is one of many ways to make a head wreath.  See another technique on page head piece 2.)

Supplies:
3 - Stems White Buttons
1 - Stem Million Star Gyp
10 - 22 gauge florist wire
Roll White Florist Tape (Will only use a partial roll)
2 - Bobby Pins to hold into hair

Begin by wiring your white buttons.  Slide the wire up through the stem and flower, fold the wire down to form a loop and pull the wire loop down into the flower.  Next, tape the wire and stem together.  Wire 15 flowers.

Cut pieces off the million star stem and tape to the already wired flower.  After you have finished all 15 flowers, you will be ready to form the wreath.

You will tape flowers together in a straight line.  You might think you are making a very long corsage.

As the wreath is formed, it will be a little more difficult to tape and turn the flowers at the same time.  I normally cut the tape into small pieces before taping the last few flowers.  This way I am pulling the tape around the wire instead of twisting the entire wreath.

When finished, form your wreath into a circle and take the taped wire end and twist around the first flower wire.  This will form your wreath.  Use the bobby pins to attach to the hair.  (You know how little girls love to jump and skip around at a wedding and you do not want this to pop off.)  Also, if you prefer, you can add a satin bow to the back with glue or tape.  Oasis pan glue will work well and hold even in the refrigerator.  Regular hot glue does not hold up in cooler temperatures.
