Large Vase Flower Arrangement

This vase is a little different. Most vases you would create a floral cage out of anchor tape as shown on nose gay but with this arrangement, we are using oasis to hold the arrangement in place.

Supplies:
2 - Stems Myrtle
2 - Stems Leather Leaf
2 - Peace Lillie Leaves
7 - Red Carnations
2 - Delphinium Bella Donna Blue
3 - Stems of White Daisies
1 - Large Green Vase
1 - Block Oasis Foam

Start by soaking oasis in water. Cut and slide into vase. Fill the remaining vase with water. The oasis will continually draw water from the vase and the arrangement will last longer.

You will remember from other examples that the arrangement is 1 to 1 1/2 times the height of the vase. Also, in order to have balance, watch where you place the products. This bouquet will have a fan type shape when finished. Start by adding your myrtle, next I have started adding the carnations.

Here I have started adding the Delphinium. Leather Leaf to the left and two Peace Lillie stems to the right.

Next, I finish by adding the daisies and finish by turning the bouquet around and covering mechanics with greenery.

This would be an easy arrangement in silk. Just use designer form to fill the vase and silk flowers where the fresh have been added.

I have inserted this bouquet into the funeral section but could easily be used in front of the church or in an entry way of a business.
